Google Core Update May 2020 - Some observations

Google Core Update, simultaneously deployed in all language versions of Google, landed on Google's search results, SERPs, on May 6.

We all know the disruptions introduced by updates of the type "core", because they often introduce improvements in algorithms that cause severe adjustments in the first rankings of positions in all Google indexes, and in all versions of the language.

The way in which the reader search for information has changed.

Before Internet era we bought our prefer newspaper, at the beginning of Internet Era,  users navigated to a specific website;  nowadays the open searching subject is the prefer way where a high number of users search for news without brand segmentation, from their mobile, tablet or desktop devices.

Frogseo against Google Panda 4.1

A high number of websites have been affected for Google Panda and its frequent updating. More recently Panda's update, Panda 4.1, designed to penalize "thin" or poor content from ranking well.

According to Google sources about 3% to 5% of search queries were affected for Panda 4.1

Next Google Panda update: Doorway pages: One

Google Webmaster Guidelines inform us a new key update that extends concept of "Doorway pages". This kind of pages were penalised for Google Panda in February 2011.
According to this extension of the doorway pages definition are considered as doorway pages, and thus eliminated from the search engine results pages (SERP), those pages designed exclusively for good positions for specific searches  queries, where each results ends up taking the user to essentially the same destination.

Google likes music

Several weeks ago Google launched a new service, Youtube Music, a real threat to a company established in this topic, Spotify.

It is not the first time Google launches music products to offer your prospects. Google Play is already there but not the expected results. Perhaps it is because you can be the owner of traffic but not of the quality or "do not know" to attract clients.
